Here we are on the first day sending you a great piece of wisdom given by no other than our beloved Prophet!!! I am hoping (and I hope you are too) to be a little more enlightened at the end of it (insha’allah).
This is a little long (so I am concentrating on the important parts)…..but I must say it is so apt for the first day of Ramadan:
“Hadhrat Salaam reports: “On the last day of Shabaan the Messenger of Allah (SWS) addressed us and said: “Oh people, there comes upon you now a great month, a most blessed month, in which lies a great night greater in worth than one thousand months…whoever tries drawing near Allah by performing non-obligatory deeds in this month for him/her shall be a reward as if s/he has performed a Fardh in any other time of year. And whosoever performs a Fardh during this month for him/her shall be the reward of seventy Fardhs completed at any other time of the year. This is indeed the time of patience; and the reward of true patience is Paradise; it is the month of sympathy for ones fellowmen; it is the month when the true believer’s provisions are increased. Whosoever feeds a fasting person (at sunset) for him there shall be forgiveness of his sins and he shall obtain the same reward as the person whom he fed (without that person’s reward being diminished in the least).

So my lovelies think of it as a wonderous joy, a gift from Allah above..Relish it!! Enrich relation with The Almighty, thank Him and enjoy His blessed month 🙂 and let’s please share prayers 4 all Muslims; Later & alive
